Pensioner Paul Stockwell repeatedly sexually abused a teenager and was jailed for four years.
A jury convicted Stockwell of two counts of sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15 following a trial in April this year.
Leeds Crown Court heard the victim was ‘crushed, devastated and depressed’ due to the abuse.
The 74-year-old defendant, of Ring Road, Beeston, Leeds, was sentenced and made subject to an indefinite sexual harm prevention order and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for life.
The jury was told that the married defendant sexually touched the girl on two occasions at an address in Leeds in early 2019.
On the first occasion, she told him to stop. On the second occasion, he kissed her.
Stockwell ‘begged’ the victim not to tell police about the abuse.
