Nimrod Shalom, a dual Israel/United States citizen, has been sentenced to 7 years in federal prison after sending an undercover police officer sexually explicit photos of a child he claimed to be his 4-year-old daughter, Elura Nanos reports for Law and Crime. Shalom previously pleaded guilty in 2015 to a child pornography possession case, when his then-girlfriend told police that he had also sexually abused her 2-year-old daughter and another previous girlfriend alleged that Shalom had suggested ‘family’ sexual activities with her and her 7-year-old daughter.
“More concerning,” prosecutors said in court documents, law enforcement seized documents Shalom had that instructed men on “how to sexually abuse children and avoid detection by law enforcement, including titles such as ‘How to Practice Child Love’ and ‘The Pedophile’s Handbook.’” Shalom was arrested during the summer of 2021 while traveling from Israel to Los Angeles.
